Sölden for sporty skiers
Besides the approximately 70 kilometres of blue slopes, you will find, 44.6 kilometres of red and 29.4 kilometres of black slopes for sporty skiing, carving and snowboarding in the Ötztal valley. But there is even more: freeriders love the fine powder snow off the slopes at the Gaislachkogl at about 3,000 meters.
Unique: the BIG3-Rally. Sölden is the only ski resort in Austria to offer three 3,000-metre peaks for skiers. Both glaciers’ skiing areas are extremely varied. Gentle, wide runs prevail at the Tiefenbach glacier, while the Rettenbach glacier attracts sporty skiers with challenging and steep slopes. The AREA 47 snowpark has been one of the international hot spots for freeskiers and snowboarders for years. What is your favourite winter sports in Sölden?
